Story
You are John Smith, an NPC, just like everyone else who works for Side Quests & Co. Your life consists of boringly sorting Main Characters into those who are worthy of side quests and those who aren't.
Directions
I made an included tutorial, but please read every word of it, or you might not understand it to get the full experience.
This game was made for GMTK 2023, my first ever jam, and I'll probably polish this game up soon and upload that version as well.

Download the file below and unzip it. Run the file named 'Side Quests & Co' with the Unity logo on it.

launching the exe just gives and error for a missing dll, I think you needed to have a zip file of the entire export of the game. I'll try getting it to work via another unity game's dll, though
nope, won't boot without the data folders. a complete unity export should look something like this, if it helps:

Hey TaelsDaFoox! I just realized this :(. but there's nothing I can do, since uploading new files will get me disqualified anyway from the Jam, do you know if there is a way where I can upload an additional ZIP?
the only way I can think of would be to just add a link to the zip in the game's description. there's a chance that it would get you disqualified, but we can't play the game without that anyway, so there's not much to lose (and I wanna try the game, it looks pretty cool from the screenshots)
